The final race of American Pharoah’s Triple Crown was the Belmont Stakes, run on June 6, 2015, at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. He won the race by 5½ lengths, ending a 37-year drought for a Triple Crown winner.

He later became the first horse to win the “Grand Slam” of American racing by also winning the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
